Gilda Ruth Swafford Hamrick, age 57, of Rutherfordton, passed away on February 18, 2021.

Gilda was the daughter of the late James and Mary Jo Greene Swafford, and the sister to the late Raleigh and Billy Swafford.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Timothy Allen Hamrick; daughter Mary Christine Bright and husband Johnathon Bright; son Timothy Allen Hamrick Jr; one nephew; two nieces; and sister-in-law Tonya Swafford.

Services were held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Rutherfordton.
