Grace Harris, 77, of Rutherfordton, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016.

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Horace Cleveland and Lena Abernathy Alley. She was a homemaker and a member of Rutherfordton Congregational Holiness Church.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Dixon; daughter Diane Dixon; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother, Rev. William Alley; and sister Judy Pruett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Harris, son Ray Dixon, and eight brothers and sisters.

Memorial services were held at Community Worship Center, Church Street, Spindale with Rev. William Alley officiating.

Crowe's Mortuary is assisting the Harris family.
