Grady Perry Womick, age 87, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023.

Grady was born March 13, 1936 in Rutherford County to the late Worth Womick, Sr. and Irma Freeman Womick. He served in the Navy and attended Wofford College. He was head of sterilization at Rutherford Regional Hospital. Grady was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and sang in the choir.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Huskey and Frances Cobb; three brothers, Worth Womick, Jr., Bob Womick and Don Womick.

Those left to cherish fond memories are his nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held October 12 at the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Keys Pendleton officiating.
