Harold D. Carswell, age 78

Harold D. Carswell, age 78, of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021.

Harold was born Tuesday, November 24, 1942 in Rutherford County to the late John William Carswell and Ethel Louise Bright Carswell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of forty-six years, Revonda Crowe Carswell and a sister, Judy Bailey.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Michelle Carswell Boldin of Athens, Alabama and son, Michael Dean Carswell (Julie Collins) of Forest City; two stepdaughters, Donna Michelle Lavender (Dale) of Shelby and Teresa Annette Blackwell (Marion Fred) of Boiling Springs, SC; brother, Ed Carswell (Amy) of Shelby; two sisters, Barbara Lavender of Ellenboro and Janice Turner of Mooresboro. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Interment followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
