Harold Dean Swink, age 63

Harold Dean Swink, age 63, of Rutherfordton, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022.

Dean was born May 25, 1959 in Rutherford County to the late Roy Swink and Eliza Johnson Swink. He worked for the town of Spindale for many years and was a past member of Race Path Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Dorothy Randall, Mozelle Tate and Cora Hudgins; brothers, Ernest Swink, Durham Swink and two infant brothers.

Left to cherish fond memories are son, Richard Swink of Bostic; sisters, Helen Shires of Mooresboro, Effie Blackburn of Shelby, Marthel Matheny of the Shiloh Community and brother, Donald Swink (Janice) of Harris and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held August 7 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ernie Cole officiating.
