Helen C. Goode, age 94, of Mooresville, NC, previously of Cliffside, passed away Saturday, June 19. 2021.

Helen was born Wednesday, April 27, 1927, in Cleveland County to the late William Surber and Myra Harbin Surber.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack C. Goode; three brothers and four sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory include a son, Ron Goode (Brenda); daughter, Cacheeta Pender (Joe); brother, Jim Surber; sister, Marilyn Phagen; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service was conducted at Race Path Baptist Church.

Memorial donations are requested to Gordon Hospice House, 2341 Simonton Rd, Statesville, NC 28625.
