Helen Lively, 82, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013. 

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Gabriel and Anna Ruff Laughter. She was a farmer.

Helen is survived by her children, James Owens of Rutherfordton, Barbara Hoyle of Forest City; six grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Owens, son, Charley Owens, daughter Vera Thompson, and granddaughter Lora Thompson.

Services will be held at a later date.
