When the warming finally started the Monday after Christmas at the fountain in downtown Forest City, Reid Guffey of the Pump Maintenance department, visited the fountain and began pushing a few holes through the ice to help the water flow a little easier. He said although the fountain was frozen during Christmas week, no pipes had burst.
