Herman Eplee, age 81, of Ellenboro, passed away on December 23, 2019.

Herman was the son of the late Alonzo Albert and Margaret Whiteside Eplee. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Shirley Ables Eplee; daughters Joyce Tallent (Kenny), Sarah Whitlock (Barry), Clara Hauser (Blair), and Kathy Phillips (Kenny); 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, Siblings Edward Eplee, Bernice Weaver (Gene), Donnie Eplee (Trisha), and Lois Lindsay (Ray); and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings Roy Eplee, and Lucille Martin.

Services were held at Crowe's Funeral Chapel. Burial was held at Eternal Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 120 Executive Park Building 1, Asheville, NC 28801.

Crowe's Mortuary and Crematory is serving the family.
