Hubert Leslie Adair, 81, of Union Mills, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017.

A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Arthur and Emma Durham Adair. He was a retired textile supervisor.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Laura Maxine Ruppe Adair; daughter, Wanda Catherine Adair Ayers; one grandchild; sisters, Myrtle Moore of Laurens, SC and Ozie Clark of Gaffney, SC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Bertha Dudeck and Elsie Cash. Services were private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Community in School Backpack Program, PO Box 2134, Rutherfordton, NC 28139.

Crowe's Mortuary is assisting the family.
