Icy Randall Koone, age 82

Icy Randall Koone, age 82, of Union Mills, passed away Thursday, November 5,

She was the daughter of the late Robert Randall and the late Meldonia Randall and a native of Rutherford County. She was a member of Piney Knob Baptist Church. She was the widow of the late Curtis Dewalt Koone. Icy was preceded in death by her sister Sarah Weatherman.

She is survived by one Daughter: Peggy Martin and her husband Charles of Rutherfordton, NC. One Son:

Robert C. Koone and his wife Cynthia of Union Mills, NC. One Brother: Boyce Randall and his wife Gerri of Rutherfordton, NC. Four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The Funeral service was held at Piney Knob Baptist Church with Reverend Jerry Campbell and Reverend Jack Crain officiating. Interment was held at Piney Knob Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
