In loving memory of William Clyde Street age 84 who went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday April 3, 2013.

A native of Rutherford County he was retired from Drexel Furniture Company, a member of Cane Creek Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War.

Left to cherish his memories are two brothers Ben Street of Ellenboro, NC and Herman Street of Morganton, NC; one sister Eunice Davis of Boiling Springs, NC and a number of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dewey and Julia Weese Street, his wife Minnie Anderson Street, their daughter Connie Street Lane and two brothers Robert Street and Rev. Carl Street.

A celebration of life was held at Cane Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Camp officiating. Concluding services were held in the church cemetery with military honors provided by the Rutherford County Veterans Honor Guard. 

In lieu of flowers memorial are requested to Rutherford County Hospice P.O. Box 336 Forest City NC 28043.

Crowe’s Mortuary is assisting the family.
