Jack Christopher “Chris” Hoyle, 59, of Rutherfordton, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014.

A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Jack Columbus and Dorothy Louise Tate Hoyle. Chris was a retired maintenance worker for the Rutherford County School System with 36 years service and a member of Adaville Baptist Church.

Chris is survived by his wife Judy McEntire Hoyle of the home; sons, Jackie Hoyle of the home, Andy Hoyle, Lee Hoyle & wife Noelle; grandchildren Sally Alexis, Jonathan, Marina & Harlan; brother John Brian Hoyle & wife Kim. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Tim Hoyle.

Funeral services were held at Adaville Baptist Church with Dr. Jim Whitlow officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Adaville Baptist Church Children’s Ministry.

Crowe’s Mortuary is assisting the Hoyle family.
