James Arnold Hodge age 88 of Union Mills, NC passed away Thursday January 26, 2012.
  Preceding him in death was his wife Violet, parents, brother and sisters.
 Arnold was a native of Rutherford County, Arnold served his country as a US Army Veteran of WWII.

    Left to cherish his memory is his son Larry Hodge and wife Brenda of Union Mills, granddaughter Sandi McCraw and husband Scott of Union Mills, Miranda Ferguson and husband J.W. of Gilkey, and great-granddaughter 
Ryleigh Violet.

    Funeral services were held at Round Hill Baptist Church cemetery with military honors provided by the Rutherford County Veterans Honor Guard.
