James B. Cartee, age 82

James B. Cartee, age 82, of Forest City passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021.

James was the son of the late Zeb and Ethel Greene Cartee and native of Rutherford County. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann Cartee and one son Eric Cartee. James was a US Marine Corp veteran for 20 years, serving during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include: One Daughter: Lisa Cartee. One Son: Scott Cartee. Four Sisters: Margaret, Betty, Linda and Ruby. One Brother: Garland. Five Grandchildren.

A Graveside service was held at Rutherfordton City Cemetery. Interment followed with Military Honors provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
