James Gary Edgerton, age 77, of Rutherfordton passed away Monday, Janury 2, 2023.

Gary was a native of Rutherford County, a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and a retired electrician for Baxter Pharmaceuticals.

He was preceded in death by his parents Nathan "Dob" Edgerton and Glendolyn Ion Geer Edgerton and a sister Carolyn Gordon.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Carolyn Hayes Edgerton; son Brian Edgerton (Linda) and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held January 6 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Courtney and Mr. Mac Edgerton officiating.
