James Howard Price, 90, of Mooresboro, priced on Friday, April 1, 2011. Services were held at Cliffside Baptist Church. Burial was held at Cleveland Memorial Park with military honors by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
Mr. Price served our country as a Staff Sergeant in the 38th Division of the 152nd Infantry, Co., during WWII, earning 2 bronze stars and a purple heart.
Mr. Price was preceded in death by his wife, Hester “Tommie” Greene Price; his parents, Thomas J. and Pearl Hamrick Price; three sisters, Lois McCombs, Helen Aldridge and Selma Davis; and two great-grandchildren.
He is survived by one son, Ronald Price and wife Jane of Mooresboro; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
