James "Jim" Berry Taylor, age 79, of Rutherfordton passed away Sunday April 19, 2020.

Jim was a native of Rutherford County, and a Veteran of the US Navy.

Preceding him in death are his wife Donna Henry Taylor, parents Ross and Mae White Taylor, siblings Bob Taylor, Alma Queen and Rachel Conner.

Left to cherish his memories are his children Susan Pearson (Bobby), Kenneth Taylor (Tina), Gary Taylor (Hope); 2 grandchildren; siblings Bill Taylor, Lillian Frazier, Dennis Taylor, Peggy Cooper and Donald Taylor.

Private services were held for the family at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Military honors were provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
