James "Luke" Blanton, age 43, of Henrietta, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020.

James was born January 30, 1977 in Rutherford County to Brenda Blanton Self who resides in Henrietta.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Deshondla Waters and Glenda Blanton.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his step-father, Donnie Self; two daughters, Arrabella Blanton and Nadia Pruett; a special friend, Nancy Caldwell; two brothers, Lloyd Waters of Cliffside and John Waters of Caroleen; three sisters, Nisha Waters of Shelby, Dale Blanton of Forest City, Linda Earley of Henrietta and several aunts and uncles.

No formal services will be conducted.

Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
