James Manning Cooley Sr., age 76 of Rutherfordton, passed away Thursday June 11, 2020.

James was a native of Greenville County, SC.

He was preceded in death by his wife Cora Lee Spicer, parents Walter and Inez Bannister Cooley and daughter Elaine Weathersby.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Candie Garcia Olvera, James Manning Cooley Jr., Lois Hallock and Jessie Spicer; a brother Thomas Cooley and sisters Jean Harling and Faye Wood along with 10 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at Grassy Knob Baptist Church Cemetery.
