James Monroe "Jimmy" Morrow, Jr., age 67



James Monroe "Jimmy" Morrow, Jr., age 67 of Bostic, passed away Monday, April 6, 2015. 

He was born June 6, 1947 in Rutherford County and was a son of the late James Monroe Morrow, Sr. and Annabelle Melton Morrow.  He retired from Timken Corporation as a machinist and was a member of Broad River Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Ronnie and Ray Morrow.

Survivors include his wife, Lynn T. Morrow, a son, Tony Morrow and wife Lynn of Drayton, SC, daughters, Sandy Haulk and husband Carl of Spindale, Ann Waters and husband Jerry of Cartersville, GA, eight grandchildren, Chad, Gavin, Ashley, Jacob, Kaade, Matthew, Morgan, and Kaitlyn as well as three great-grandchildren, Waylon, Wade, and Maily; three brothers, Talmadge Morrow, Bobby Morrow, and John Morrow, and six sisters, Beverly Gordon, Lillian Coffey, Debbie Kimbrell, Lisa Brooks, Teresa Panther, and Joy Brooks.

A graveside memorial service was held in Broad River Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Bryan Ezell officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, Post Office Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043 or the charity of the donor's choice.
