James Patrick Fountain age 72, passed away Thursday November 3, 2011.

    Left to cherish his memory are his wife Barbara Schott Fountain of the home, two sons Scott Fountain & wife Crystal of Rutherfordton and Mike Fountain also of Rutherfordton; two granddaughters Chelsea & Chloe Fountain; one sister Mary Bishop & husband Robert of Huntersville, NC; two brothers Dennis and John Fountain both of Florida.

    James was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Catherine Wood Fountain as well as one son Patrick Fountain.

    Funeral services were held  at the Immaculate Conception Catholic. Military Honors will be provided by The Rutherford County Veterans Honor Guard.

    In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County POB 336 Forest City, NC 28043 or to the Building Fund of The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 1024 W. Main Street Forest City, NC 28043.

    Crowe’s Mortuary of Rutherfordton, NC is serving the family.
