PrintJames Robert "Bob" Lane of Forest City passed away Saturday August 4, 2018.
He was the son of the late Harl Hull Lane and Leavie Eula Shields Lane. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his son Robert Shannon Lane, brother Alvin Lane and sisters Rachel Lancaster, Mildred Moore and Kathleen Sane and a loyal dog named "Peanut".
Left to cherish his memories are three daughters and their spouses Melanie Roberts and husband Bud and Darlene Adkins and husband Mike, Kimberly Hamond and husband John, three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Service was held at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside. Pastor Bob Buhl officiated the service. His final resting place is at Eternal Hills Cemetery of Forest City, formally called Sunset Memorial.
Arrangements are entrusted to Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside.
