James Ted Guffey, age 74 of Kings Mountain, died November 9, 2021.

Ted was born June 1, 1947, in Rutherford County and was a son of the late James Crawford Guffey and Georgia Lee Luckadoo Guffey. He was a self-employed car dealer and a lifelong Baptist.

Survivors include his son, James William Guffey and his wife Pamela Hunter Guffey of Greenville, SC, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and an expectant great-grandchild.

A graveside service was held November 13, 2021, at Eternal Hills Memorial Park with Pastor John Lehman officiating.
