James Wesley Simpson, age 82, of Rutherfordton, NC, formerly of Green County, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015.

He is survived by his son: Wesley Simpson of Louisville, 2 grandchildren, a great-grandchild, A brother: William Simpson of Louisville. A sister: Mary Huber of Louisville and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral services were conducted at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial following in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Greensburg.

Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with local arrangements.
