Jane Bridges Powell, age 64, of Bostic, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on January 8, 2024.

She was a graduate of East Rutherford High School, and Isothermal Community College. Jane was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church. She worked for the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce for many years and for the Rutherford County Department of Social Services.

She was preceded in death by her biological father, Ronald Bridges and her mother, Margaret "Edna" Alice Propes; brothers, James Beheler, Ronnie Beheler; her sister, Marie Quinn; her foster and adoptive parents, Cleatus and Mattie Randall.

She is survived by her husband of over 30 years, David Wayne Powell; brothers, Johnny Propes, Kenneth Bridges (Monica); sisters, Tilly Foster, Ann Craven (John), Cindy McGinnis (Doug); stepson, Nathan Powell; two granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was conducted at Oak Grove United Methodist Church January 11 with Rev. Chris Glawson officiating.
