Janet Ward Bridges, age 95, of Rutherfordton passed away Friday, March 6, 2015.

She was a native of Rutherford County, widow of the late Homer Bridges and daughter of the late Ben and Gertrude Sisk Ward. Janet attended Little White Country Church and was retired from the furniture industry.

Surviving is her sister Helen Ward Arrowood of Rutherfordton.

Graveside services were held at Rutherfordton City Cemetery with the Rev. Pete Bridges officiating. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County P.O Box 336 Forest City, N.C. 28043.

Crowe’s Mortuary is assisting the family.
