Janice Moore Cole, age 63

Janice Moore Cole, age 63, of Forest City, passed Sunday, June 5, 2022.

Janice was born December 22, 1958 in McDowell County to the late Earl Ray Moore and Helen Epley Moore. She was a graduate of R-S Central High School. Janice was a Monitor Tech at Spartanburg Regional Hospital 12 years and worked for Eaton Corporation 31e years. She attended the Full Throttle Biker Church in Forest City.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Billy Cole.

Left to cherish fond memories are daughters, Sara Cole (Jesse), Leah Lucas (Jeffery) and Diane Yelton all of Forest City; three grandchildren and a great granddaughter. She is also survived by brothers, Neal Moore (Becky) of Rutherfordton, Roger Moore (Myra) of Union Mills, Richard Moore (Diane) of Marion, Lawrence Moore (Reita) of Marion and a close friend Bobby Reece of Forest City.

The funeral service was conducted June 11 at Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mike Gettys and Elder Ursula Long officiating.
