Janice Thompson Walker, age 81, of Rutherfordton NC passed away Friday, August 12, 2022.

Born in Polk County to William Wesley Thompson and Arlene Smith. She married the love of her life, Horace Alexander Walker in 1959.

She was a member of Kistler's Chapel United Methodist Church. She spent her career at Apple Tuck & Associates and as a real estate agent.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, and brother (Arvol Thompson).

She is survived by daughter Tammy Hunt of Rutherfordton and son Jason Walker (wife Karen) of Fleetwood; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, brothers Glenn Thompson (Blanche) and Joel Thompson (Patsy), sister-in law Martha Thompson.

A memorial service was held August 20 at Kistler's Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev, Dr. James Powell and Rev, Ad Hopper officiating.
