PrintJean Davis Hardin, age 85, of Forest City died April 26, 2022.
She was born May 21, 1936, in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Lee and Elizabeth Clements Davis.
Jean was a graduate of Lake Lure High School and a member of First Wesleyan Church Forest City. She worked for Parker-Hannifin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Davis Lanford and brother, Hal Davis.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Hubert L. Hardin, son, Joey Hardin and wife Tracy of Forest City, one granddaughter, brother, Raymond Davis and Lucia Denney of Rutherfordton, sisters, Kaye Earley of Laurinburg, Carolyn Vess and husband, Harold of Asheville and Elsie Robinson of Old Fort, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was held Saturday, April 30, at First Wesleyan Church with Rev. Eric Yelton officiating.
