Jeanette Spicer Carpenter age 70 of Forest City, passed away on December 10, 2016.

Jeanette was the daughter of the late Earnest and Rose Bailey Spicer, and was retired as a teacher assistant with the Rutherford County School System.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband Joseph Samuel Carpenter; son Joey and wife Deitra; son Jeff and wife Lisa; son Jay and fiancée Deborah; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild; brother Herman Spicer; brother Tommy Spicer; In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Gene Spicer; Services were held at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Crowe's Mortuary is assisting the family.
