Jerry Edward "Eddie" Philbeck passed away August 19.

Some of the names he loved best were "Honey", "Daddy", "Grandpa", and "Paw Paw". He loved his wife of almost 45 years, his grown children and their families more than anything.

He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother Jack Edward and Katherine Hinson Philbeck.

Left to cherish his memory are Rita Ervin Philbeck of the home. Daughter Jessica Philbeck Collins of Hickory and husband Chris, daughter Amanda Philbeck Hill and husband Dustin, son Jeremy Philbeck and wife Morgan. 5 grandchildren, sister Kathy Philbeck Jolley and husband Charles of Virginia, brother, Scott Philbeck of Mississippi, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A Celebration of life was held September 4 at the Chapel at The Padgett & King Mortuary with Rev. Sam Henderson, Dr. Charles Jolley, and Rev. Chad Dillard officiating.

In Lieu of flowers make donations in Eddie's memory to Adaville Baptist Youth Choir, 805 Oakland Rd., Spindale NC 28160.
