Jerry Wayne Lail, 65,

Jerry Wayne Lail, 65, of Mooresboro, passed away on August 17, 2012. 

A native of Rutherford County, he was born on August 2, 1947, a son of the late Frank and Rosa Mae Rogers Lail. He was retired from PPG and a member of Goode’s Grove Baptist Church. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, William and Frankie Lail; one sister, Lucille Moore. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Holland Lail; one son Andy Lail and wife Michelle of Mooresboro; one daughter, Angie Hamrick and husband Kevin of Mooresboro; three sisters, Rachel Whisnant of Mooresboro and Reba Poteat and Jean Kelly, both of Forest City; three grandchildren, Jacob and Anna Hamrick and Sarah Lail. 

A graveside service was held at Goode’s Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Hensley officiating.
