Joan H. Fox, age 89

Joan H. Fox, age 89, of Rutherfordton, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021.

She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Louise Harwood and she was a native of Cook County, IL.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Rutherfordton where she served as the treasurer of her Sunday school class.

In addition to her parents Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Donald H. Fox, and her brother Robert A. Harwood.

She is survived by, one daughter, Diane Fox Earnest, and husband Steve, one son, Robert Fox, and wife Lori, five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held at First United Methodist Church, Rutherfordton in the memorial garden
