Joan Moore Clark, age 76 of Ellenboro, NC, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023.

Born October 25, 1946 in Athens, GA, she was the daughter of the late Joe Moore and the late Louise Phillips Moore.

Joan was retired Rutherford County Schools teacher having spent over 25 years at Ellenboro Elementary School. She was a member of Duncans Creek Church.

Joan is survived by her husband, Thomas Clark, her son Keith Clark and wife Tammy, one granddaughter, brother David Moore and wife Dixie.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother Melvin Moore.

The memorial service was held March 9 at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, with Rev. Sam Henderson and Rev. Max Burgin officiating.
