John Barry Logan, age 60, of Rutherfordton, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018.

He was born May 1, 1958 in Spartanburg, SC to the late John Charles Logan and the late Virginia Mae Prince Logan. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Rutherfordton. He graduated from Spartanburg High School, attended Spartanburg Methodist College and loved to study genealogy.He is survived by numerous loving cousins. The memorial service was held at First United Methodist Church of Rutherfordton. Interment took place at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Cleveland/Rutherford Kidney Association at 1017 North Washington St. Shelby, NC 28150.
