John F. Luckadoo, age 86, of Green Creek, passed away Tuesday, April 6,

He was the son of the late Cone and Mafrey Luckadoo and he was a native of Rutherford County.

In addition to his parents John was preceded in death by two brothers, James Luckadoo and Wayne Luckadoo, and three sisters, Annie Mae Luckadoo Stacey, Ada Luckadoo

McComas, and Mary Luckadoo Walker.

John is survived by his loving wife of 62 years: Wilda Luckadoo; One Daughter: Lynn Luckadoo West and husband Brad, of Roanoke, VA; One Son: Rodney Luckadoo and wife Angie, of Green Creek, NC; One Sister: Shirley Luckadoo Wagner, Chicago, IL; One Brother: Charles (Pug) H. Luckadoo (Carolyn) of Rutherfordton, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service was held at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery.
