John Wayne Sparks, Sr., of Mooresboro, age 63

John Wayne Sparks, Sr., of Mooresboro, age 63 passed away on October 20, 2019.

He was born January 24, 1956 to the late Carl Joseph Sparks and Mayble Irvin Sparks. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by 1 son John Wayne Sparks, Jr., 1 daughter Leslie Sparks, 1 brother Carl Joseph Sparks, Jr. and 1 sister Kathy Lyvonne Allison.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Jessica Sparks, 2 sons: Daniel Lee Sparks and wife Caroline, James Adam Gettys and wife Courtney; 1 step-son Christopher Wisher and wife Mariah; 1 daughter Brandi Greene and husband Aaron, 2 step-daughters: Hollywood McAbee and husband John and Brittany Wisher; 2 sisters Helen Marie Prescott and Peggy Sparks Blair. He will also be missed by 14 grandchildren and a special grandson.

John will be missed but left us with special memories. A celebration of life will be held at a later date by the family.
