Johnny Alan Warren, age 52, of Lake Lure, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013. 

A native of Henderson County, he was the son of Johnny Creighton and Ellen Inez Sims Warren. He was a boat motor mechanic and a US Air Force veteran

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Clay and Cody Warren; sisters Inez Wilson, Sylvia Warren, Lora Lyda, and Jessica Wills; brother Alvin Warren.

A memorial service was conducted with Rev. William Swink officiating. Military Honors were provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
