Joseph "Joe" Grady Jones, age 82, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away September 8, 2021.

He was the son of the late Jasper Grady and Minnie Agnes Jones, and was a native of Rutherford County. Joe enjoyed being a little league coach and being a member of the Kiwanis Club. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Rutherfordton.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by brothers, B. Frank Jones, and Robert Norris Jones, and special aunt, Adna Norris.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Moore Jones, daughters, Beverly Jones Bentley and husband Mike, and Annette Moore Jones, and Lanny, 1 granddaughter, and several other family members.

The funeral service was held at First Baptist Church of Rutherfordton September 12, 2021 with Rev. Tim Marsh and Rev. Sal Barone officiating.
