Joshua David Horne, age 39, of Lattimore, passed away Monday, February 13, 2012.

    Funeral services were conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel.

    Joshua was born March 20, 1972 in Rutherford County, NC to David Horne and Lynn Green Hargraves.

    He was a graduate of Crest High School, class of 1990 and served in the US Air Force for six years.  He worked for United Airlines and recently as a veterinarian technician for Tri-City Animal Clinic.

    Survivors include his mother, Lynn Hargraves of Lattimore; father, David Horne and wife, Terry of Stantonsburg, NC; one brother, Jeremy Horne and wife, Beth of Lattimore; half-brother, Cody Horne of Stantonsburg; one step-sister, Leslie Pierce of Wilson, NC; grandmother, Marjorie Padgett Horne of Rutherfordton.  He is also survived by two nieces, Taylor Horne and Adriana Jenkins and two nephews, Gage Horne and Jeremy Scott.

    In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Harrelson Funeral Home, 1251 US Highway 221A, Forest City, NC to help defray funeral costs.
