Joyce Jones cuts the Chamber of Commerce ribbon as she is surrounded by her family, staff, customers and Chamber members during her grand opening and massive expansion of Joy’s Bridal now located the Tri-City Mall between Belk’s and Rose’s in Forest

   Joyce Jones and her staff recently expanded into beautiful new retail space in the Tri-City Mall between Belk’s and Rose’s.

   To celebrate their grand opening, the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce sponsored a ribbon cutting ceremony in Joy’s Bridal’s new space.

   Friends, customers, and Chamber members came to see the new show room, mingled with other Rutherford county residents and business people, and  Joy’s bridal treated them to food, music and a fashion/bridal/prom show!

   Rick Austin, Executive Director of the Rutherford County Chamber said, “Joyce came to me several months ago, thinking about retiring and closing her old shop…but after some thought she decided that she would expand instead! So she has created a new location that is the envy of bridal shops in Charlotte!  And she is employing more people in the county...Not only that, but this brings shopping and dollars into Rutherford County from many other surrounding counties.  This shop is a great benefit to the economy in Rutherford County.”
