Julian Chester Lynch

Julian Chester Lynch was born December 22, 1964 in Rutherford County to the late Chester Lynch and Carolyn Forney Lynch. He passed away on January 2, 2020. Julian loved the Lord and loved people. His glowing smile and friendly personality allowed the love of God to flow through him. Elder Julian Lynch began his Christian ministry under the leadership of the late Pastor Ronnie B. Scott, at the Jesus Lighthouse Tabernacle where he served as a Deacon and later a Minister. He later became a member of Faith Praise & Worship Ministries; were he was ordained to the Office of Elder by his Bishop Mark E. Lattimore. He served faithfully for many years on the Finance and Hospitality Ministries. His greatest joy, besides preaching the word of God was landscaping and beautifying the church yard. Julian was employed by AGI industries where he worked in the warehouse and drove forklifts for 30 years until his sickness. He was also a successful entrepreneur. His landscaping business served over twenty yards and businesses in Rutherford County. He loved to cut grass. Julian leaves to cherish the love of his life, his precious daughter, Xaela Tutt of Forest-city, his faithful mother, Carolyn Forney Lynch, Union Mills, 3 brothers Reginald (Reggie) Forney, Nigel (Jessie) Forney of Tanneytown, MD, Chester O'Brian McDowell. 6 sisters, Greta (Bobby) Young, Shiela Hooper of Irvington, NJ, Lenise (Darren) Joiner, Tryphena (Gregory) Barnes of Baltimore, MD, Antionette Young of Gaffney, SC and Arnella Perry of Columbia, SC. He is also survived by a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and a special friend Anissa Tutt. A quiet hour and services were held at Faith Praise and Worship, Forest City. Burial followed in the Union Hill AME Zion Church Cemetery. Crowe's Mortuary and Crematory is serving the family.
