Julie T. Armas age 78

Julie T. Armas age 78 passed away August 23, 2012. 

A native of New York she was retired from the Miami-Dade School System with thirty years of service as an educator. A member of Fairfield Mountains Chapel, Julie was active in the church choir and was known for her solo performances at church and community events.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Tony Armas and wife Nimisha Dabhi-Armas; Linda Shumaker and husband David; two grandchildren – Ashviya and Rebecca, one great grandchild-Jacob and one sister Nina Tepedino.

A celebration of life was held at Fairfield Mountains Chapel. A reception for family and friends followed the service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fairfield Mountains Chapel 1384 Buffalo Creek Road Lake Lure, NC 28746.
