Karen Loftis, age 75, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away July 26, 2026.

Karen was the daughter of the late Ellis Philemon and Grace Crook Philemon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Barri Loftis.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Phil Black, Matthew Loftis and wife, Kim, and Kyle Loftis; four grandchildren; niece Tammy Turner; nephew Matt Helms.

The family will receive friends from 2-4pm Saturday, August 22 at Crowe's Mortuary.
