Katherine Elena Dobbins age 58

Katherine Elena Dobbins age 58 of Forest City went home to be with the Lord on Saturday March 24, 2012. 

A celebration of life was held at the First Baptist Church in Rutherfordton. 

A native of Rutherford County she was born June 27, 1953 to the late Ernest Grayson Dobbins and the late Mary Sue Guffey Dobbins. A graduate of Wake Forest University and Converse College. Katherine was a retired school teacher having taught at R.S. Central High School. 

Left to cherish her memory are her brother David Robert Dobbins and wife Harriet of Lincolnton; one niece Donna Robin Dobbins Tedder and husband Daniel of Crouse; two great nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Rutherford County School Education Foundation General Fund or The Katherine Dobbins Memorial Scholarship Fund 382 West Main Street Forest City NC 28043.
