Katherine “Kitty” Earls, age 75, of Caroleen, NC, passed away Friday, January 27, 2012.
Katherine was born April 24, 1936 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Jennings Bryan Harrill and Ruth Bagwell Harrill.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Forest “Hank” Earls.
Survivors include three daughters, Teressa Arrowood of Henrietta, Margaret Short and fiancé, Scott Shires of Spindale and Kathy New and husband, Tommy of Pendergraff, Ga.; one brother, Michael Harrill of Rutherfordton; one sister, Jenny Ruth Hoyle of Shelby. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of Rutherford County, POB 336, Forest City, NC 28043 or to Church of the Exceptional, PO Box 46, Caroleen, NC 28019.
