Kay Frances Bailey Jones, 87, peacefully passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026.

She was born to the late Jamie Bailey, Sr. and Louise Jones Bailey in Cherokee County, South Carolina. She is also predeceased by her husband, Daniel L. Jones, Sr.; son-in-law, Marty Burton; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Daniel L. Jones, Jr. (Nancy) and Steven C. Jones (Christy); daughters, Deborah Burton, Susie Orr (James), Penny Pruett, Mary Kane (Larry) and Sandra Jones; 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren.

During her lifetime, she worked at Kemet Electronics.

Graveside Services will be held at 1PM Monday, June 5 at Cleveland Memorial Park, 1225 College Ave., Shelby, NC 28152.
