Kay Harris Morrow, age 81, of Forest City, NC, died Sunday, December 3, 2023.

Born in Spindale, she was the daughter of the late Agnes Coats Hall and widow of the late William Eugene "Bookie" Morrow.

Kay was a graduate of R-S Central High School and was a Teacher's Assistant for many years with Rutherford County Schools. She later worked for the Rutherford County Solid Waste Department and was a member of Crestview Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Allison Summey and husband Keith of Raleigh,; son, Michael Morrow and partner Bill Benton of Atlanta, GA; one granddaughter, and sister, Susan Harris of Forest City.

In addition to her mother and husband, Kay was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dock and Susie Coats.
