Kaye Simpson Craft, 76, of Rutherfordton, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents Mack and Edith Simpson and her daughter Amy Beheler.

She was a member of First Baptist Church Rutherfordton and also attended Rutherfordton Presbyterian Church. She graduated from RS Central High School, Greensboro College and received her Masters Degree from Converse College. She was a teacher at RS Central for over 20 years.

She is survived by her husband Dick Craft, daughter Jana Philbeck (Ronnie), sister Maxine Moore, two granddaughters and one grandson.

A memorial service was held August 11 at Rutherfordton Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Don Scofield officiating.

In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations requested to Rutherfordton Presbyterian Building Fund, 252 N. Washington St., Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
